Our Hire Terms & Conditions – So Everyone's on the Same Page


Booking & Payment

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit is deducted from the total hire cost.

The full balance of the rental agreement must be paid on delivery, before setup begins.

Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is received.


Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cooling-Off Period: You have a 24-hour cooling-off period after paying the deposit. During this time, you can cancel your booking for a full refund of the deposit.

  • After Cooling-Off Period: No refund of the deposit will be provided, but rescheduling may be offered at our discretion.


Alcohol Disclaimer – Blade Machine Hire

Louth Tubs for Hire offers the Heineken Blade machine for private equipment hire only. Any keg included is complimentary and provided solely for personal, at-home enjoyment.

We do not sell alcohol. The hire price reflects the rental of the equipment, and any alcoholic beverage provided is not for resale or public consumption.

By booking, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • The equipment and any beverage included will be used for private, non-commercial purposes
  • You accept full responsibility for the safe and legal use of the product

Delivery & Setup

  • We provide delivery, setup, and collection of the hot tub.  (we aim to set up the day before your selected dates to allow temperature to get to desired temperature)

  • Customers must provide a flat, clean surface such as grass, patio, or decking for safe installation.

  • A safe power source is required (indoor or outdoor). We provide a 15m extension lead and waterproof socket connector.

  • A clean garden hose and water supply must be available for filling the hot tub.

  • Once filled, we will return for the initial water treatment when the temperature reaches 20°C.

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.


Hot Tub Use & Safety

  • Only adults (18+) may rent a hot tub.

  • Children must be supervised at all times while using the hot tub.

  • No glass or sharp objects are permitted in or around the hot tub.

  • No standing, jumping, or diving into the hot tub.

  • The hirer is responsible for ensuring safe and appropriate use of the hot tub at all times


Water Treatment & Maintenance

  • We provide full chemical treatment and instructions for maintaining water quality.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the water remains clean by following provided guidelines.

  • If the water becomes dirty or unsafe, we reserve the right to drain and refill at an additional charge.


Damage

  • Customers are fully responsible for any damage or loss caused to the hot tub or its accessories during the hire period.

    Each hot tub hire includes one spare filter cartridge. If additional cartridges are required due to improper use or failure to follow the maintenance guide, they must be purchased at a cost of £4 each.


Voucher Terms & Conditions

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.
  • Vouchers must be mentioned at the time of booking – either online or by direct message.
  • Each voucher is valid for one use only, unless otherwise noted.
  • No cash alternative – vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Vouchers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
  • All bookings are subject to availability – we recommend booking early to secure your date.
  • We cannot replace lost or stolen vouchers.
  • We reserve the right to amend or withdraw voucher offers at any time without notice.

 


Liability Disclaimer

  • Louth Tubs for Hire is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage resulting from the use of the hot tub.

  • The hirer accepts full responsibility for the safety of all users.

  • The hirer agrees to use the hot tub in accordance with the provided safety instructions


Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances

  • In cases of extreme weather (such as storms, heavy snow, or high winds), we may reschedule your booking for safety reasons.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.


Data Protection

  • We respect customer privacy and will only use personal details for booking and service purposes.

  • We do not share customer data with third parties.
